Senior Associate

Anne-Marie has worked exclusively in Family Law since 2012. She was admitted to practice as a Solicitor in New South Wales in 2018. Since then, she has continued to work solely in Family Law.

Anne-Marie holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in psychology and a Bachelor of Laws from Western Sydney University. Before joining Ali Family Lawyers, she gained valuable experience at two national commercial law firms and two specialist boutique Family Law firms, where she also practiced in other areas of law including civil litigation, wills and successions, and property matters.

Anne-Marie takes a direct approach to family law, providing pragmatic and strategic advice to clients on resolving property and parenting matters. She is goal-focused, offering strategies and solutions to help clients finalise their Family Law issues in the most efficient and commercially viable way.

Recognising that the breakdown of a relationship is one of the most difficult and emotional times in a person’s life, Anne-Marie is genuinely dedicated to assist clients through their difficulties to achieve a resolution.

Anne-Marie is exceptionally skilled in complex financial and corporate structures, particularly in property settlements involving trusts, companies, and third-party issues. Her expertise extends across matters involving inheritances and gifts, spouse maintenance, child support and the existence of a de facto relationship. She also has expertise in handling parenting issues involving serious allegations of family violence and child abuse, as well as relocation applications.
